Join the City of Miami Beach in tipping our hats to the one and only Micky Wolfson, Wolfsonian founder and collector extraordinaire, on the occasion of his 80th year. On Thursday, November 14, 7–10pm, A Universe of Micky will transform 10th Street between Washington and Collins into a big, block-wide birthday bash under the stars. A rousing performance by the FIU Marching Band will kick things off as the block opens to pedestrians with food trucks, cash bars, an Airstream lighting activation by Lutron, and, of course, dessert, while inside the museum visitors are invited to experience opening night of our new exhibition, A Universe of Things: Micky Wolfson Collects. The evening will conclude with a bang: an outdoor concert by Nu Deco Ensemble, magical maestros of Miami.
