Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month at the Nader Art Museum (62 NE 27th St. Wynwood) . On Thursday, October 17, opens Latin American Art: Visions of Identity. Works by: Soraya Abu Naba’ a, Ángel Acosta León , Pedro Álvarez, Cundo Bermúdez, Fernando Botero , Tony Capellán, Mario Carreño, Alejandro Colunga, Luis Cruz Azaceta, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Fernando de Szyszlo, Wifredo Lam, among others.
Gary Nader proudly presents Ricardo Cisneros: Tierra Sublime (Namibia: Sublime Land), a series of 30 spectacular photographs from Mr. Cisneros travels to Namibia, Southern Africa. All proceeds from the sales of these photographs will be donated to Global Empowerment Mission to help on the recovery of NW Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian. The exhibition will be on view from October 18 through November 30.
Teresita Fernandez: Elemental, on view from October 18, 2019 – February 9, 2020 at PAMM. Artist Talk and Catalogue Signing on the night of October 17, 7 pm.In celebration of the opening, artist Teresita Fernández will discuss her special exhibition Elemental and how her work has led her to this mid-career retrospective. Members enjoy advance ticketing September 26–29. Space is limited. Following the talk, Fernández will sign copies of the Elemental catalogue, while supplies last.
