The 51st edition of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival presented by Terra Group & Grove at Grand Bay returns Presidents Day weekend, February 15-17. America's most popular and highly-regarded outdoor, fine arts exhibition brings 380 of the most talented and creative artists from across North America and Canada to Coconut Grove to display collections in the mediums of mixed media, painting, photography, digital art, printmaking & drawing, watercolor, claywork, glass, fiber, jewelry & metalwork, sculpture and wood. Twenty local artists are from the Miami area and more than 100 are from Florida. Five talented up and coming artists under age 30 will exhibit their work for the first time at a major outdoor, fine arts festival in the event's first "New and Emerging Artists" category. Alexander Mijares, a Miami native who has been recognized by Elite Daily as a Top 10 Influential Artist of 2013, makes his debut at the Arts Festival as this year's poster artist.
Headlining the performing arts stage in Peacock Park is Bad Company (1985-1995) former lead singer Brian Howe, who will take the stage on Sunday, February 16 at 4:45 p.m. The popular Culinary Pavilion will again offer presentations from many of South Florida's most noted chefs including Giorgio Rapicavoli, winner of The Food Network's Chopped.
Festival hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Admission to the Arts Festival is $15 per person, per day.
Children 12 and under are free.
Residents of Coconut Grove in the 33133 zip code can enjoy the Festival for a reduced admission of $5 per person, per day (proof of residency required).
