"Music for Sixty and Sax" by Maestro Eduardo Marturet, will be premiered during this concert. This piece is a new symphonic version composed in the mountains of Greece. It is the most emblematic and uplifting piece of work ever written by the composer. Its vibrations are guaranteed to enrich your soul and transport you the majestic temples of the Greek Gods. It will be performed for the first time by the Miami Symphony Orchestra, featuring Eduardo Calle as solo saxophonist.

"Music for Sixty and Sax" was originally introduced in 1992 as a chamber music piece for 6 instruments "Ad lib" and saxophone, as a special commission from the Sinfonietta Caracas.
