The debut exhibit “The Syntax of Geometric Art,” consists of abstract and geometric sculptures and paintings. Politano has been working to create his own artistic language by highlighting the extreme minimalist formations along with the primary colors. By using a vivid group of colors in his paintings, Politano is drawing geometric compositions showcasing outer forms of the artist’s internal world. The blue, yellow, and red shapes used reflect both the harmony and incompatibility between the subconscious of the artist himself and reality. His first geometric painting was the result of a tireless search for his own synthesis. His art was born from a constructive and dynamic process through drawing in which he developed visual geometric shapes creating the union between art, mathematics and geometry. His geometric sculptures, composed of symmetrical and asymmetrical elements, are made with aluminum, steel, and/or iron. This allows a light reflection to display through the materials showing both the impeccable and minimalistic form. In addition, the emptiness created in the internal space acquires another form creating its own visual impact.“Both the paintings and the geometric sculptures, as well as all of my artistic work originate from an unconscious internal desire initially captured in my drawings”.WP

The exhibition will begin on November 21, 2014, at the galleries space in the Wynwood Building, 2750 NW Third Ave Suite 2, Miami, and will be on display during a month of Miami’s International art show Art Basel beginning December 4th. Support is provided by Tamarina restaurant, United Cellars Inc and FlatRate Moving and Storage LLC.

About Politano Fine Art

The gallery consists of an exclusive representation and specialization of art by International Sculptor and Painter, Wladimiro Politano. Through the strong relationship with galleries, museums, art institutions, designers and architects worldwide, the Politano Fine Art location is looking to further the artist’s career.

The Politano Fine Art’s goal is to reinstate Wladimiro Politano artistic career in the United States, which had originally been established in the 1970’s and 80’s. At that time he was alongside other prominent artists from that period such as Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Calder and Rothko.

Our Mission is to make “Politano” a brand recognized name, helping him enter the history of art, where we believe he belongs.
