1881 Henry Meade Leight is a film by Onajide Shabaka where he investigates the human relationship to the contemporary landscape and its questions regarding ecology and history, including African diaspora and Native American cultures. The premiere of the short film “1881 HENRY MEADE LEIGHTON” will be projected on the exterior wall of Farside Gallery fronting Galloway Road. The short film derives from Shabaka's explorations of "historical fiction" about people and events in St. Lucie County, Florida. Limited Capacity: Call 305-264-3355. Protocols will be strictly adhered to be in compliance and keep visitors and staff safe. The exhibition will be on view until October 9, 2020 and take place at announced dates and times.
