Americana: 10,000 Miles to Nowhere. A Retrospective on Silver Gelatin Prints.The American land, expansive and spectacular, has been a central force in shaping of American culture.  It continues to inspire the creativity of Daniel de Azoulay in his now more than two decades creative pursuit of American landscape. These two photographs are part of a growing body of work - "Americana series". Landscape, as distinguished from land, is a mindful creation, "a framing of the world"-the visual equivalent of mapping, both geographically and conceptually, a natural ideal.
