Bénédicte Blanc-Fontenille is a French artist, a 1985 graduate of L'Ecole des Beaux Arts, living and working in Miami since 2001. Throughout her nearly 30-year career as a visual artist, she has been inspired by one simple yet profound observation: That humanity—in fact, life itself—is extremely fragile, and yet, it is our knowledge of this fact that causes us to constantly move, building up and tearing down, rising and falling, rejoicing and grieving ... then doing it all over again.
