Visual artist Juan Roberto Diago (b. 1971), a  leading member of the new Afro-Cuban cultural movement, has produced a body of work that offers a revisionist history of the Cuban nation, and Cuban American artist Carlos Estevez: Cities of the Mind, showing his most recent project: nine large format paintings that reference the artist fascination with city plans open at the Lowe Art Museum (UM Campus) on Thursday, October 24, 7 - 9 pm. Opening Reception free for members and $12.50 admission tickets for non members.
