Join Ideobox Artspace today (6-9pm) for their opening reception of Displacement: a series of work by Florencio Gelabert. Ideobox Artspace is known for giving voice to a diverse range of artists from different countries and ethnicities, particularly in Latin America, and Gelabert's Cuban heritage plays a large roll in his artistic expression. Gelabert's work concentrates in beauty and destruction and violence and serenity through the manipulation of materials, two-dimensional and sculptural work for a recreation of imaginary spaces.
