"The Cuban" jointly with Operation Pedro Pan Group, Inc. is delighted to sponsor a panel on the experience of the Cuban boys that went to Spain unaccompanied in the 1960s and 1970s with the aim of reaching the US. The panel, comprised of 7 participants, includes six of the boys that joined Franciscan friar Antonio Camiñas' program in Madrid and a Catholic priest, who as a young seminarian assisted the friar in caring for well over 3,000 boys at various sites throughout the Spanish capital.Moderated by history professor and award-winning author Dr. Victor A. Triay, Ph.D.
