The Miami Herald has partnered with local historical societies, universities, and the Miami-Dade County community on a new hardcover pictorial history book, “Miami Memories: The Early Years.” The community is invited to participate in this unique project by bringing photos taken in the Miami-Dade County area between 1800 and 1939 to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Photos will be scanned on-site and given right back. A simple photo submission form is required for each photo (maximum 10 photos per family).
