Venezuelan artist Ricardo Arispe debuts Paisaje Expandido [Botanik], an exhibition that transforms Miami’s environmental data—temperature, humidity, wind, pressure—into large-scale visual projections and live audiovisual compositions. Developed with the AI collective ColectiBot and the band Botanik, the project explores nature not as statistics but as living pulse, weaving science, technology, and art.
At its center, a living plant connected to sensors gathers real-time data, acting as both witness and archive. The installation creates a contemplative space where visitors experience landscapes through light, vibration, and sound
Podcast: Voyage to the Present On the same evening, as part of this opening, Arts Connection will also present the launch of the podcast Voyage to the Present, hosted by Andreína Fuentes Angarita and Orlando Urdaneta. This new weekly platform will bring together special guests to reflect on ideas and proposals for the reconstruction of Venezuela.
Opening: Saturday, October 18th, 7–10 pm
