ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER PAINT
Solo Show – Lucas Estévez
A Poetic Idea of Space
Lucas Estévez constructs interior spaces and grids that challenge the viewer’s perception. Each work is a threshold into the enigmatic, a landscape where possibilities unfold in multiple directions. His images, brought out from their latent state in the collective imagination, materialize like instinctive equations, prefiguring a universal chromatic order. The neutral atmospheres that inhabit his paintings are imbued with symbolic elements displaced from their original context. Estévez’s aesthetic dismantles creative limitations, liberating the gesture from any instrumental predetermination and articulating a new dialogue between color, space, and figure.
Approaching his work is like walking through the endless corridors of a palace or hotel, where each door opens into a different fictional interior. His production is relentless, a continuous flow that gives meaning to his personal mantra: “Another day, another paint.” This inexhaustible pictorial torrent expands like a nebula, confronting the ever-changing circumstances of the present with an organic coherence that defines his artistic identity.
Estévez intertwines geometric abstraction with the still life of vectorial graphic symbols, creating visual counterpoints that fragment time and space. Within this language, his work unfolds in a continuous pictorial flow, a constant struggle against existential void. Through impersonal symbols such as wireless signal bars and pop-up windows, his paintings reveal a world laden with solitude and waiting, inviting the viewer to find solace in the shared spaces that art offers.
Sometimes, Estévez’s studio becomes his own metaverse, where signs and figures challenge three-dimensional logic, materializing into an unpredictable visual choreography. His work merges elements of surrealism, geometric abstraction, and minimalism, creating a repertoire of images that travel at the speed of digital time.

¿Qué pasa USA?
solo exhibition by twin artists Sarah and Samantha Ferrer
“Qué pasa, USA?” is more than just an exhibition. It’s an environment that invites you to be a part of it and the artists. It aims to activate personal and collective memories, breaking the veil between yesterday and today, like a poetic exploration of memory.
Sarah and Samantha Ferrer invite us to partake in an ode to cultural memory and the familial bonds that inhabit them. In a space built from nostalgia and art, personal experiences and memories converge, translated into objects and representations that evoke ceremonial rites, altars of faith, and events that, regardless of their ordinary nature, reveal themselves as transcendent for them.
About the artists:
Miami-born artists Samantha Noelia Ferrer and Sarah Ferrer draw on their Cuban roots to create a wide range of artworks. Both graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute with a Bachelor’s degree in Ceramics, and Samantha also specialized in Asian Studies. Their artistic practices include vibrant large-scale paintings, ceramic sculptures, and decorative vessels, all deeply influenced by their cultural heritage.
In 2022, the Ferrer twins co-founded 2WIN! STUDIOS with the aim of fostering the thriving ceramic culture in South Florida. With a shared passion for ceramics and experience in the Visual Arts Magnet Program at Miami’s New World School of the Arts, their collaborative efforts celebrate their cultural legacy while pushing the boundaries of contemporary art.
