Dialogues
Solo Show by Tatiana Zaytseva
Miami International Fine Arts (MIFA) is proud to present “DIALOGUES,” the first solo exhibition by Tatiana Zaytseva, curated by Luis Valenzuela.
Curator’s Statement, Luis Valenzuela: “Curating Tatiana’s work is a journey through her profound connection with history and the philosophy of inspiration. In her debut solo show, Tatiana explores the concept of dialogue, inviting viewers into visual, imagined, and tactile exchanges. She is grounded in Socratic thought and embraces the idea that ‘truth is born in dispute,’ yet she substitutes conflict with meaningful dialogue. Her works engage with masters, eras, nature, and the viewer, fostering a space for new ideas. This exhibition becomes a collaborative exploration where the artist and audience uncover more profound truths.”

My Eyes The Beholder
Solo Show By Robert Louis
Miami International Fine Arts (MIFA) is excited to present “MY EYES THE BEHOLDER,” a captivating solo exhibition by photographer Robert Louis, with curatorial text by Mahara Martinez.
Robert Louis perceives his subjects as part of a broader narrative that revitalizes our notions of diversity, exploring the physical characteristics inherited from our ancestral lineage. His empathetic approach creates sincere and moving interactions with the people he photographs, imbuing them with deep meaning, even when the time shared is brief. In those fleeting moments, Louis feels deeply connected and captivated, always in search of a truth — though sometimes ambiguous — that allows the viewer to engage in an intimate dialogue with the subjects.
On September 5th, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
I Decide. I Decided.
By Mila Hajjar
“I Decide. I Decided.” is an impactful exhibition composed entirely of two-dimensional textile works and large-scale soft sculptures that delve into the complex theme of abuse of power in all its forms. Through her work, Hajjar explores how individual growth empowers us to break free from toxic ties and make our own decisions. “These works reflect my personal journey,” explains Mila Hajjar. “The audience will see themselves reflected in one or more situations, as most of us have been victims of some form of constraint, whether through political or religious abuses of power, family manipulation, or social and media pressures. The choice to use only textile art in this exhibition is symbolic: the past is unstitched, wounds are mended, toxic relationships are cut, and new ones are woven.” This exhibition marks a significant milestone in Hajjar’s career, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences and find the courage to make decisions for themselves.
About Mila Hajjar: Mila Hajjar is an Italo-Venezuelan artist, architect, and writer committed to social issues and respect for nature. She employs various techniques, including acrylic, oil, encaustic, collage, and textile art. Her work has been exhibited internationally and awarded by several institutions. Her works can be found in museums such as the Museo Torre del Molino in Ischia, Italy; FIU in Miami, USA; and Museo Placido Maneiro in Venezuela. She maintains her studio in Coral Gables.
Curatorial advice is provided by Aurora Molina, with text by Carola Bravo.
Miami International Fine Arts is committed to the integral education of our community. We truly believe that the only road to freedom is education and culture. Art is not a luxury for any advanced civilization; it is a necessity, without which creative intelligence will wither and die.
