Rodriguez: Hair to the Queen, a Guest Lecture Series with cancer research scientists, happy hour drink specials, light bites and hands-on projects, This months activities will revolve around Pride Month, taking an in-depth look into Andy Warhol’s Ladies and Gentlemen series (1975). Adults will also get to join from 6-8pm for the museums Art and Food Series “Rose All Day”, with entertainment by guest drag queen Misty Eyez.

Join MOAD for Soul City, a 20 minute film which documents racism, social issues, urban development, political turmoil, and tolerance in the 970s, when a group of civil rights activists and city slickers who attempt to build a multiracial utopia in the heart of Klan Country, North Carolina. Also screening will be Paolo Soleri: Citizen of the Planet, a 50-minute film about the architect, dreamer, and philosopher, whose utopian ideology was to build mega-structured cities a hundred times the size of the Empire State Building.
