Starved. Directed by Giselle Delgado Buraye, this collective exhibition poses the question of how are we all affected by physical, emotional and spiritual hunger? In an effort to bring awareness and raise funds for the Feed My Starving Children South Florida Community MegaPack happening on Jan 27-31 at the Fair and Expo Center, 30 artists have come together to support this cause as their way to help feed starving children around the world. All the work will be auctioned this Friday, January 15th at The Artisan Lounge.
Phillips is pleased to announce the exhibition of more than 30 works of art in the Miami Design District, from April 19-24. Highlights from the upcoming Latin America sale will be on view, presenting the rare opportunity to see works by Matta, Carmen Herrera, Roberto Obregón, Olga de Amaral, and Jesús Rafael Soto, among other masters. On April 21, Phillips will also host the book launch of Matta: On the Edge of a Dream by Thomas Monahan, the first international monograph or publication dedicated exclusively to the artist. Join Locust Projects for its annual Smash & Grab Fundraiser–in which everyone is sure to come out a winner. Anyone purchasing a raffle ticket is guaranteed a work of art, with pieces coming from over 100 donating artists both local and international. Tickets are called at random all throughout the night, with the first person called having first pick and the choosers being called in order of raffle tickets. In addition to art, attendees will experience drinks, a DJ, food, and a window into the Miami Art collector scene.

Join Design and Architecture Senior High for their biggest fundraiser of the year. In this special event, there will be a silent auction, mural reveal and cocktail reception in support of the future generation of artists and designers. All of the money raised will go to the public school students to help elevate their art and design programs such as fashion design, graphic design, film and production, architecture and industrial design.
