Hernán Cédola transforms the gallery’s project room into an immersive space that reveals his latest works. Through gestural intensity and raw emotion, Cédola invites viewers into a dialogue on the evolution of pictorial expression. His compositions embrace uncertainty, capturing moments of doubt, persistence, and improvisation as intrinsic parts of the artistic process. Each piece serves as a record of its own becoming, continuously shifting through time and perception.
Unfolding marks Cédola’s fifth exhibition with Dot Fiftyone Gallery and further cements his reputation for innovative, evolving visual narratives. His work has been widely exhibited across Argentina, Germany, the United States, Bolivia, Italy, and Mexico, with past residencies including Atelier Höherweg in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Also in the Main gallery, Dot Fiftyone will present a preview of “Concrete Façade”, a group photography exhibition exploring architecture, memory, and power. Participating artists: Anastasia Samoylova, Linet Sánchez, Edison Peñafiel, Gian Paolo Minelli, Amanda Linares, and Mitzi Falcón.
