The five artists are members of the Coral Gables Branch of the National League of American Pen Women. One of the many branches of the National League of American Pen Women, Inc. (NLAPW), founded in 1897. The national arts organization headquarters is in The Pen Arts Building and Art Museum on the DuPont Circle of Washington, D.C. The mission of the National League of American Pen Women and its branches is to support and promote creative excellence and professional standards among women in the arts.

The establishment of the Archbishop John C. Favalora Archive & Museum in St. Thomas University campus provides the ability to share vast historical resources of the Archdiocese of Miami. The Archives of the Archdiocese of Miami seeks to preserve the historical heritage of the Roman Catholic Church in South Florida. The Archives collects, preserves, organizes and makes accessible documents, images and artifacts of the Archdiocese for the purposes of education, research and exhibition. The museum is committed to the accessibility of contemporary art to diverse audiences for appreciation and understanding of recognized or emerging artists.
