Erika King. Peace, Love, and Harmony 2020 Collages.

Endowed with a passion for exploring a variety of mediums and techniques, Erika King has selected collage as her medium of choice as it allows the transformation of photos, mementos and memorabilia to tell a story and speak its own language. An emotive colorist, she uses vibrant splashes of paint full of energy, as well as a subdued palette, to express reflection and introspection in her collages. In this series titled
“Peace Love and Harmony” Erika explores her involvement with Spirit as well as the outer world using fragments of sheet music, labels, stamps, and foreign currency interspersed with iconic images of the Mona Lisa, Statue of Liberty, Angels and other folklore. The Chinese characters vibrate with their meanings of peace, love, harmony, and joy. ErikaKing.com By appointment: (305)-323-7385
