Join the NSU Art Museum for their monthly free Starry Nights event! On the first Thursday of every month, the museum offers free admission, 2-for-1 drinks, and fun art-making workshops and activities for all ages. In celebration of Black History Month, the activities will be inspired by African American contemporary artist Kara Walker, whose silhouetted life-size figures and installations have told a narrative that is truly important to the black community. Teens and adults are also invited to create work inspired by conceptual artist Glenn Ligon. These artists have work shown in Remember to React, the exhibition currently on display at the museum, so make sure to check that out as well!
