Join the Lowe for the opening reception of their newest exhibitions "A House Divided" by Billie Grace Lynn, and Contemporary Israeli Art: "Visions of Place". Complex societal issues, such as the conflict in Israel through photographs, videos, installations, paintings, sculptures, and mixed media. Visions of Place includes thirty-four contemporary artists who explore contending views of history and identity, questioning relationships to, and conflicts over, place. "A House Divided" explores performance and installation while discussing black youth in America in an interactive and interdisciplinary interactive piece that provokes viewers to consider identity politics, civic engagement, civil discourse, and democracy’s precarious fragility. On view until August 4.
