As part of MOAD's Where the Oceans Meet exhibition, Black Power Naps / Siestas Negras is an interactive installation that offers rest as a form of reparations. On view through January 12, 2020, the installation invites visitors to lounge on a variety of embellished beds, replete with gauzy canopies, serene lighting, therapeutic sound vibrations, and other restorative props.
