The exhibition explores the visual field through varying figure-ground relationships. Assembled to represent a spectrum of interpretations, Mass assumes a role as figure, object, gathering, scene, pile, and form; in correspondence, Foreign Ground becomes its backdrop, its new surrounding spaces.
