Vickie Pierre is best known for her beautiful decorative wall installations that blend elements of her Haitian heritage with contemporary pop culture. Pierre’s exhibition includes freestanding sculptures and wall-hangings that highlight her lyrical genius. Grounded in the Arts & Crafts movement, her installations have a charming storybook feel and never fail to engage a viewer. While Pierre investigates her own self-identity through the objects that she includes, such as perfume bottles, the powerful melding of color and object are a delight for all to behold.
